INT. CITY STREET- DUSK

VOICE OVER:

THE SCREEN STARTS OFF BLACK 

ENGLAND- URBAN CITY

(Jasmine)

So, you're really going to go there? We've really got things to do, it's our final year at secondary and we have some catching up to do.

CUTS BACK TO SCENE (OVER SHOULDER SHOT OF FRIEND LOOKING AT MC)

(Lucy) 

Yeah, it's my only lead...And I don't think that will matter.

(Jasmine)

..You've always been stupid.

(Lucy)

-Huffs and shakes their head- Hey, hey, listen to me! All the clues link to hear, if we could just gain access to-


The Main character is cut off by their friend, their friend grabs them by the shoulders and looks them dead in the eye with a stern expression.


(Jasmine)

(with an angry tone) You listen to me. Your brother is dead. Okay? He is gone, so you need to move on with your life and accept he's dead.

(Lucy)

I...

(Jasmine)

(pulls away from the main character and turns away)

So stop trying to get me into this pointless search and dragging me into my death!

Their friend walks away, not looking back at the main character.

(Lucy)

They look lost for words, and just stand there by themselves before throwing their arms to the air and to their side in annoyance. 

Okay...Okay, FINE! You wasn't any help anyways..Ugh..


The main character moves away from the spot they're in, they look at their phone one last time to where they had pulled up the picture of the abandoned area to their friend and look at it with determination. They sigh, still with the phone in in their hand they walk off of the camera.

(FADES TO BLACK)

 

The Camera starts by following the main character on their phone texting, the name of their friend is visible and they are trying to get their friend to come with them on their mission. They look uneasy and don't want to go alone in truth. 

(CUT TO)

A 'crunch' from behind can be heard. The shot cuts to the unknown character's feet crunching the twig on the floor and walking ahead as if they are following the main character.

The screen flickers and cuts to the main character turning their head around quickly to check the noise; no-one is there. (fades to black)

Camera cuts back the the main character turning back around. They look uneasy.  Suddenly, the camera has a medium shot of the mysterious person grabbing the main character and placing their hand on the main character's mouth.

----

INT- ABANDONED SCHOOL CLASSROOM

The camera cuts to the main character alone in the room. The main character is on the floor. The camera focuses and cuts to a tap in the room slowly dripping onto the floor until it unfocuses and goes back to the main character,

They start to look around the room and feel around, they hook out their phone, and turns it on, suddenly find a door. 

There is a close-up of the main character trying to rattle the door and it does not open. They angrily sigh and then proceed to barge into the door with full force; breaking through, the main character stumbles onto the ground and slowly brings themselves up. They look around the room.

The camera pans around the new room that the main character is in in. The main character is in a long dark hallway. It is dead silent. The main character is looking around and then the camera quickly swifts the end of the hallway and the light comes on. A shadowy figure can be seen at the end of the hallway.

INT- ABANDONED SCHOOL HALLWAY

The main character steps closer and then the figure seems to run away quickly. The main character tilts their head in confusion.

The main character takes a deep breath and slowly walks forward to where the shadow was. No-one is there when they arrive. Suddenly, there is a loud crashing noise and the turns to the door where the noise is coming from. A tapping noise can be heard coming from the room.

Building up their courage, they barge into the door. 

INT- ABANDONED SCHOOL CLASSROOM

They look around the room, it is eerily quiet.

Are you afraid?

(Lucy)

Huh? Oh-

Main character turns around and sees their brother, they gasp in relief. They walk towards their brother, relieved to see him alive.

(slit sound effect) Blood comes out of the brother's chest and falls to the ground. When the body falls, a pair of feet is shown.

(Cut To)

Main character looks horrified, they try to scream but find themselves not being able to speak. 

(The camera turns up, it's the same hooded figure from before.)

The unknown/hooded figure puts a finger to their lips and tilts their head.

The main character's breathing gets louder and cuts to a close-up of the main character. It is on an extreme close-up for a few seconds.

(Cuts to rapidly)

(A screeching sound is played) The Unknown figure lunges forward at the main character and a scream is heard.

(CUTS TO BLACK)

(boom effect is played and it shows the title of the Thriller.)
