  • Abandoned Area to make the viewer feel isolated and alone.
  • Have a view seconds of suspense, and have loud sound effects to startle the viewer who is watching when they don't expect it.
  • Dark and gloomy colour pallet to set the mood of the area. 
  • Preferably set at night so the viewer has a fear of what lurks in the dark.
  • Music picks up tensisity as something approaches to make the viewer feel frightful of what's going to come up.
  • Scares when the user isn't expecting it to thrill the viewer and scare them.

The crime and action in the thriller must contain a clue about the Villain's objective and/or object of desire. The antagonist makes their actions personal to the protagonist.
